The senior minister of covenant house chapel Ghana has responded to suggestions within the public that the raging COVID-19 pandemic is a punishment from God.
During a Facebook live program on Wednesday dubbed “An Hour With Apostle” the senior Pastor of covenant house chapel said God would not unleash punishment on the earth just for the sake of it. Responding to a question from the host on whether COVID -19 is a punishment from God as many out there say, the seasoned man of God said that belief can only suggest that Christians must stop praying because God would do what he wants to do.
“I don’t think so, If COVID -19 is from God then we should stop praying, doctors should stop working because no one can stop God from what he wants to do. Very important to add that God is not the author of sicknesses and diseases.” Apostle Kingsley Amoako responded. He further added that Christians must pray and trust God for a solution soon.
