Fast rising Ghanaian gospel artiste Doreen Okyere has embarked on an outreach to the Nsawam prison, female division. Doreen Okyere together with her team donated items such as toiletries, tooth brushes, sanitary pads, cocoa drinks and many more. Speaking to the officer in charge of the women division of the prison, Doreen Okyere expressed her joy in showing love to the inmates. She said ‘’ as part of the progress of mu ministry, my team and I decided to embark on this outreach to demonstrate the love of God to inmates, we donate these items in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit’’.
The senior officer in charge ‘’Madam Joan’’ also expressed her gratitude for the Kind gesture done the inmates. She said ‘’ I stand on behalf of the OIC, Staff, inmates and my own behalf to express my sincere gratitude for this love and for your prayers and support, we appreciate it a lot God bless you’’
Doreen okyere also made time to fellowship with the inmates of the prison. She admonished them to keep believing in God and commit their lives into His hands. Doreen Okyere is making plans for the commencement of the 2020 edition of her annual gospel event Throne Room Worship. Watch this space for updates.
