Renowned Ghanaian gospel artiste Joyce Blessing is undoubtedly one of Ghana’s finest gospel artiste. Joyce Blessing in recent times has come under heavy criticisms for her style of songs.

”The Unbreakable” hit maker who shot into fame in 2013 has made it public in an interview with Zhikay ikejunior of gospel2me.com that, most event organizers are prioritizing Foreign artiste over the local ones in Ghana. Joyce who expressed her disappointment said ” I see that as Ghanaians, we don’t appreciate what we have, most event planners prefer to invite artiste from outside as a Headline artiste while I have hit songs than most of these artistes invited. We prioritize these artiste all because they are from Nigeria,South Africa and be little the our own gospel artiste which is very bad. The criticisms is too much, let us support what we have, we have to love what we have because God has blessed us.

Joyce Blessing however reiterated that, the growth of the Ghanaian music is solely our responsibility and as such priority must be given to our music and artiste. She further shared her thoughts on gospel music revealing that, aside winning souls and making an impact in the lives of people, Gospel music is a business and must attract investment from business men and other stake holders.
