” I Have Taken The Advice of Prophet Eric Boahen and Dropped All Charges Against Daddy Lumba” – Great Ampong .
After many efforts to settle the differences between Ace Ghanaian gospel artiste Great Ampong and Daddy Lumba proved futile, the renowned Gospel artiste has finally decided to smoke a peace pipe with Daddy Lumba.
In an open confession at Reign House Chapel on 5th February, Great Ampong admitted that, He was furious after his colleague cheated him in a project they collectively embarked. ‘’ I must admit I was deeply hurt by Daddy Lumba, I decided not to grant interviews from last two weeks to add more salt to injury. A lot of people have spoken to me and admonished me to cease fire including Pastors, Kings, Industry people etc. Bitterness is not a good thing and I must appreciate where God has brought me to, it’s enough’’
Great Ampong made this statement after he was invited to minister at the Reign House Chapel under the auspices of Prophet Eric Boahen Uche in Accra. Prophet Eric Boahen together with the congregation pleaded and urged the renowned Ghanaian gospel artiste to solve his indifferences with Daddy Lumba and be an example to believers who find themselves in similar situation.
The scuffle between Great Ampong and Daddy Lumba lead to the composition of a supposed Diss Song which was not well received by the Christian community in Ghana. Great Ampong has promised to do better next time as well as dropping every charges and issue against Daddy Lumba.
