In sharing her testimony for societal judgments sake, a registered nurse in Ohio who has suggesed her full name is withheld due to what humanity might think of her, has made it known publicly how her life was turned around by a Ghanaian gospel song.
Aunty Comfort as she prefers to be identified said, life had been ‘hell’ for her after she lost her husband to her very best friend as well as the demise of her son. In her statement, she said, “I thought I was doing my friend good when she had no place to stay when she moved to Ohio, never knew that was the beginning of my down fall,” she added.
When she was asked of the particular song that ministered to her, Aunty comfort confessed that, a song from a UK based Ghanaian Artiste Martin Fei Titled “Aseda” ministered to her when she had deadly pills in her hand to end her life.
“After listening to the song, I busted into tears for as long as I could recall the goodness of God and the life God has given me irrespective of the challenges I had been through, the song spoke to my spirit which gave me a renewal of Mind” she said.
Martin Fei as popularly known among the Christian fraternity in UK is a Ghanaian Gospel minister whose ministrations has been greatly attested to by many as touching and life changing. Born From a Christian home with foundations on the teaching of Christ, Martin has always had the desire to make impact in the lives of others with his musical abilities and God given gift.
“I developed passion for music when I was a little boy, it started from Sunday school when my sunday school madam realised that, I was the only one among my colleagues who could sing in Harmony”. Martin fei said.
When Martin Fei was asked of how he felt when he heard that his song had saved a life, He said “I suddenly felt goose bumps all over my body when I heard the nurse’s testimony, I thanked God for using me as a vessel to save this woman and I know God is yet to do a lot more”.
