Isaac Kwakye Yeboah Releases Maiden Single, “W’adi Nkunim” (The Victory Anthem)
Isaac Kwakye Yeboah is the Assistant Music Director at True Love Assemblies of God, Ashiyie in Accra under the Head Pastor Rev. Eric Sekyi Aidoo (Newly Inducted East Adenta District Pastor). Isaac is the son of the Late Rev. Edward K. Yeboah (Former, Anyinam District Pastor, Eastern Region C of the Assemblies of God, Ghana) and Ps. Eva Yeboah, who currently is an Associate Pastor at Living Word AG, Bunso.
According to Isaac’s mother, Ps. Eva Yeboah, he began singing at a tender age, using the home fan’s plug as a microphone, and the then popular song he usually sang was “Inka ei ei ei, Inka” which is supposedly the song “Winner, ei ei ei, winner, Jesus is a winner oo, winner…”. It’s no surprise his maiden song is titled W’adi Nkunim which literally means (He’s Won the Victory).
Isaac Kwakye Yeboah fellowshiped with the Assemblies of God Campus Ministry (AGCM) while pursuing his first degree on KNUST campus from the year 2013 – 2017. During his stay with AGCM, he became the Prayer Secretary for the Music Ministry Department in his third to final year (2016/2017). He made a great impact in the lives of many. Due to sensational and unique style of ministering especially during AGCM worship service, he became popularly known as “Uncle Ato” which still remains on the lips of many alumni of AGCM members of his batch. He also served as Sunday School Teacher and also as a Cell leader for Non-Residents of AGCM.
“W’adi Nkunim” was written based on three (3) main foundational scriptures, 1 Corinthians 15:55-57, Colossians 2:14-15 and 1 John 5:4, culminating in the making the W’adi Nkunim song (The Victory Anthem). According to the song writer, it was impressed on him by God to write this song to rejuvenate the hope of many to realize and take full assurance of the victorious living that believers have in accordance to the wondrous and sacrificial work of Christ Jesus on the cross by his death and resurrection.
“There were times my faith hit the rock bottom, and it seemed all hope faded away, inconsistencies in my walk with God, struggles here and there, and in those tough times, that God came through and gave me this song and it really made a huge impact in my life”. He also mentioned that he knew this song was not just for him but for everyone who has been battling with their faith in Christ Jesus. “The enemy would always want to remind us of our failures and our past, but Jesus Christ came to die on the cross to give us a new life, a victorious life”.
The song is produced by Mr. Kpabitey Kofi, and well accomplished musicians including Eweh Matthew (Bassist), Emmanuel Bludo (Drummer) Prince Hakeem (Guitarist), Esther Godwyll (Background Singer), Nicholas Annang Jnr (Background Singer) Jones Ofori-Attah (Composer/Arranger). Song would be on all digital stores from the 16th April, 2023.
