IYES KICK -STARTS IN KUMASI IN A GRAND STYLE
The year 2019 marks the 5th edition of the IYES programme since its inception in 2014. IYES is a Youth empowerment event initiatived by UK – based Ghanaian pastor, Brian Amoateng. For the past 5 years, IYES is one of the biggest events in Ghana every year with massive attendance.
Pastor Brian Amoateng is the president of Brian Jones Outreach Ministries headquartered in London. As one of the end-time ministry gifts to the body of Christ, Pastor Brian is positioned as a strong and forthright preacher with a unique prophetic ministry. He is a well sought after conference speaker who travels the globe. Pastor Brian is the Chairman of Brian Jones Charity Foundation and also serves as the Chief Executive of 424 Group of Companies. As an author, life coach, a philanthropist and entrepreneur, Pastor Brian gives counsel and advice to the youth in his annual event dubbed IYES.
This years edition of IYES does not only mark the 5th edition but also has gone through a relocation from Accra to Kumasi.
Great men of God and ten showbiz personalities have been invited as ambassadors of the fifth edition of the International Youth Empowerment Summit. These ambassadors have in their respective ways, made impact on some people in the society. Among these ambassadors are Rev Eastwood Anaba, Simon Ampofo, Dr Kwame Kyei, Dr Lawrence Tetteh, Jackie Appiah, Dr Kofi Abban, Kwame Adinkrah, Dr Paul Effah, Nkansah Lil wayne and a host of others.
Kick -starting on Friday 15th March 2019, the programme has recorded a massive attendance in the KNUST great hall with powerful ministrations from renowned gospel artiste.
Pastor Brian reiterated at the commencement of the 2019 edition that, the event is geared towards the empowerment of the youth and as such everyone present had a role to play in ensuring that the youth of the country are brought up morally and in a well cultured manner. He urged the youth to make use of the opportunity to learn new ideas and be impacted.
The events run through from Friday to Sunday with morning sessions held at 8:30pm and evening sessions at 5:30pm..
