Mayor of Columbus Andrew J. Ginther Honors Pastor Brian Amoateng after a successful Debut of IYES.

On Saturday, 11^th June 2022, iYES debuted its first event off the shores of Ghana in the city of Columbus, Ohio at the magnificent auditorium of the Jesus Power Assembly of God church. The event saw the coming together of youth from different parts of the United States of America and and some parts of Europe. The event hosted seasoned and internationally recognized speakers including the likes of Dr. Frank Ofosu Appiah, Apostle Bismark Osei Akomeah, Mr & Mrs. Agyekum, Jackie Appiah, and Dr. Sonnie Badu. The day’s event was streamed on all the iYES social media platforms which enabled thousands to join in from across the globe.

The Mayor of Columbus, Andrew J. Ginther who could not physically attend because of an earlier engagement sent a delegation to grace the occasion. Later that evening, the representative of the Mayor presented a certificate of recognition to Pastor Brian Amoateng. The certificate read, ‘On behalf of the citizens of the City of Columbus, we applaud the determination and effort you have demonstrated over the years towards the advancement of the youth. Through your annual event, mentorship programs and support, the lives of many youths have been transformed and for this we highly commend you. Thank you for bringing this laudable event to the city of Columbus as well. We wish you continued success in your future endeavours and hope that the state of Columbus and other sister states will continue to benefit from your impact.’
