National Cathedral Secretariat Dispels Claims Over USD 50,000 Payment To Dr. Sonnie Badu

The National Cathedral of Ghana Secretariat has cleared the air on the alleged $50,000.00 paid to Dr. Sonnie Badu.

In a press release statement addressing among some concerns and controversies around the National Cathedral, clarified that “the secretariat of the National Cathedral has not paid any money, neither is it aware any such payment to Sonnie Badu”, it reads.

This comes after the Ghanaian International gospel worshipper was invited to sing during the launch of the National Cathedral in the USA to raise funds for the construction of the Cathedral.

In response to the allegations by management of Dr. Sonnie Badu in an official press release, debunked the said claims and further added that “the management in the USA did not receive a dime and to date has not received any monies from the organizers. Therefore, the team wishes to dissociate themselves and the International act, Dr. Sonnie Badu from any National Cathedral funds reimbursement allegations” the letter stressed.
