Prophet Obotuo earlier on backlashed some pastors for turning a blind eye on the urgent needs of their congregants. Before the Lockdown, Prophet Obotuo revealed in an interview with gospel2me, Zionfelix and Kofi TV about the greedy nature of some pastors during this period of crisis.

Fast forward, the Prophet has applauded the good effort of pastors in making the 3 weeks lockdown in Ghana a success. Several pastors attended to the daily needs of the less privileged in the society through donations. This comes after Prophet Obotuo sent a public backlash to Ghanaian pastors to desist from taking money from church members during this time of crisis but rather offer a form of relief to needy.

In a recent interview with Zionfelix, He said ‘’ the impact is great, I have seen a massive change after my previous backlash, I have seen pastors and their leadership making donations to people on the street, hospitals and to other vulnerable people in the society. This communicates the effectiveness of the earlier backlash which has replaced good with greediness’’
