
Diana Hamilton Gives Accra An ‘Awake Experience’
The 2024 edition of the much anticipated ‘Awake Experience’ concert came alive at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) auditorium in Teshie, Accra, as Multiple award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician, Diana Hamilton celebrated ten successful years of her annual gospel musical concert.
The well-attended ‘Awake Experience’ concert also welcomed distinguished figures such as Sam Gyata George, Betty Mould Iddrisu, Julius Debrah, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku – Agyemang, and Elizabeth Ohene all present to grace the event.
The evening began with an abundance of energy as the renowned Daughters of Glorious Jesus commenced the event with a stellar performance. Their masterful delivery thrilled the audience with their timeless classics, setting the tone for the night.
Subsequently, the stage was set for Nigerian gospel icon Mercy Chinwo, whose performance thrilled the audience with her hit song “Na You Dey Reign.” So much that they were on their feet, singing along word for word.
Then came the pinnacle of the night as Diana Hamilton mounted the stage, met with a wave of excitement surging through the auditorium, erupting into a frenzy of cheers and applause.
Diana Hamilton as she displayed her musical showmanship also paused for a moment to commit Ghana to the Lord in prayer as the nation prepares for the upcoming elections, seeking divine intervention for peace to prevail.
Drawing the evening to a close, Diana Hamilton crowned it all as she invited Nigerian Gospel sensation, Mercy Chinwo to share the stage with her to perform their collaborative masterpiece ‘The Doing of the Lord”
Under the theme ‘The Doing Of The Lord’, the tenth-anniversary gospel music concert was sponsored by Awake Purified Water with support from the Enterprise Life and Property Electronics
Sunday, February 25, will witness the final edition of the ‘Awake Experience’ concert at the Church of Pentecost, Bantama as Diana Hamilton alongside CT Praise, Akesse Brempong, ACP Kofi Sarong, Kofi Owusu Peprah and more, come together to climax this year’s concert in Kumasi.
